Mute Announces An Exclusive Label Release

Mute announces an exclusive label release to celebrate the annual Record Store Day on April 16, 2011.

The release, titled Vorwarts, is a compilation of exclusive tracks from Mute artists, either from the vaults, such as Can's "Millionspiel (edit)" previously unreleased from 1970, or tracks which have been previously unreleased commercially. Hand-numbered and set to a limited edition of 1000 in the U.S. on orange vinyl plus CD package, Vorwarts features unreleased tracks from Liars, Junip, Josh T. Pearson, Mick Harvey, and Polly Scattergood along with the brand new track, "Be The One" from Moby.

"In Every Direction (White Sea Remix)" by Junip is the lead track on Vorwarts. White Sea is M83 singer Morgan Kibby's new project. Also featured are two new Mute artists, S.C.U.M and Big Deal, both based in London.
